19 March 2007, Singapore - VivoCity goes into full fashion mode as it gears up for the Singapore Fashion Festival 2007 (SFF07) with a host of complementary activities and events. Considered to be the region's most glamorous festival, the Singapore Fashion Festival is a yearly showcase of some of the latest fashion collections from around the world, and naturally, VivoCity has plenty to show.
Kicking off the entire Festival is a celebration of an integral part of fashion - Accessories. From 23 March till 8 April, it's Viva VivoCity as every $50 purchase at VivoCity entitles shoppers to a chance to win up to $10,000 worth of prizes from SK Jewellery. Shoppers who spend $120 will be able to purchase an exclusive Uber™ stainless steel necklace at only $15 (U.P. $29). Not to be missed is the SK Jewellery fair from 2 to 8 April, which marks the celebration of their third anniversary and the launch of their special anniversary collection.
Of course, every Fashion Festival must have a runway show, and VivoCity does not disappoint. Vivo La Fashion kicks off its opening show on 29 March, following which will be three days of pure fashion entertainment from some of the most prestigious fashion labels that call VivoCity home. These include new-to-market concept enclave Spain 2 Dream, as well as, renowned names such as ESPRIT, Marks & Spencer, Lee Hwa Jewellery, Utopia, Lonsdale and Joop.
To whet the appetite of fashion fans everywhere, American cosmetic brand M·A·C has teamed up with a fashion icon that has been capturing young girls' hearts for decades, Barbie. This March, Barbie is hip, happening and all-M·A·C with a modern rebel attitude and fashionable indie style, courtesy of M·A·C Cosmetics. From now till 25 March, M·A·C is offering its customers a makeover and hair styling by professional makeup artists for $120, which is fully redeemable for M·A·C products. For Citibank and Tangs cardmembers, however, the deal is even sweeter as they will pay only $100, and will get a chance to purchase the M·A·C Barbie doll at $75.
Participants will also get to mark the occasion by having their pictures taken as a keepsake. Also, there is a Barbie Doll Collector's Gallery on display featuring Barbie in her various outfits in collaboration with fashion designers like Valentino, Versace and Givenchy, with the M·A·C Barbie Doll taking centre stage.
