14 March 2008, Singapore - Be inspired by Qiu Hao, the most sought-after young fashion designer in China. Catch his stunning Spring/Summer 2008 fashion show, which kicks off at VivoCity’s Central Court at 1pm on 29 March.
VivoCity, the winner of the Singapore Tourism Awards 2008 “Best Shopping Experience – Shopping Mall” category, is bringing the glamour and glitter of the fashion world closer to you during the Singapore Fashion Festival. Qiu Hao’s fashion show will feature 30 unique pieces that are specially-designed for the show in Singapore. This will also be the first time ever that he showcases his work to an audience in Singapore.
Qiu Hao, the founder of One by One/LAB, Shanghai’s first concept store, furthered his studies at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. Upon returning home, he took a chance and opened his eponymous boutique in a street where old and new elements of Shanghai juxtapose. His latest collections, modest yet extravagant, contradictory yet sensational took the city by storm.
Visitors to VivoCity during the festival period will also be able to catch a line-up of glitzy fashion shows from the tenants, preview some of the most spectacular fashion collections at exclusive closed door events, and indulge themselves in many attractive deals and gifts.
