28 May 2008, Singapore - Unleash the Superhero in you at the Singapore Movie Fiesta from 4 to 8 June 2008 at VivoCity! Be a part of Singapore’s most exciting movie event and watch specialists Frances Richardson and Luke Hawker from WETA Workshop (New Zealand), as they brandish their special effects makeup brushes, see larger-than-life Superheroes up close and personal, parade in your superhero costume and more! You can even get to rub shoulders with the mastermind behind “Money Not Enough”, Jack Neo, as well as the director of acclaimed film “881”, Royston Tan.

Superhero Factory

If you have always dreamt of looking like your favourite Superhero, here’s your chance! Two special effect specialists from WETA Workshop (New Zealand), Frances Richardson and Luke Hawker – both of whom have worked on the set of the world-wide blockbuster, The Lord of the Rings – will be working their magic live at 3pm from 4 to 6 June. Learn some nifty tricks of the trade along the way!

If you simply can’t get enough, pay a nominal fee of $20, and get fitted in the superhero costume of your choice, with special effects make-up and superhero gadgets thrown in, along with a photo print. This amazing keepsake is FREE for the first 50 shoppers per day with a minimum spending of $50 at any store at VivoCity. Whichever way it is, you can be guaranteed an experience of a lifetime!

Singapore Superhero March

Upon creating your very own Superhero look, flaunt it in Singapore’s largest superhero character march, or rent a superhero costume if you wish. Join the forces of the good and superior as we battle the evil forces. For only $30 per participant, a goodie bag will be delivered right into your superhero lap, with the proceeds going to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. Dress like a superhero, march like a superhero, and be one, by spreading the spirit of goodwill.

Mingle with your all-time favourite Superheroes as they make special appearances on stage! Grin from ear-to-ear as you snap a picture with them and brag to all your friends that you have seen a Superhero in flesh.
