1 June 2009, Singapore – VivoCity, Singapore’s largest multi-dimensional retail and lifestyle
destination is energising the shoppers’ experience with the introduction of its very own Drummer
Boys! Shoppers can catch the six VivoCity Drummer Boys every Friday, Saturday and Sunday
in the month of June 2009, from 7pm – 7.30pm as they parade and drum through the shopping
mall in their red, white, blue and gold military uniforms.
VivoCity Drummer Boys consists of a group of energetic drum enthusiasts who will take street
percussion up a notch with its multi-talented drum styles. The group is set to parade and drum
its catchy rhythms all the way from The Plaza on Level 1 to the Sky Park on Level 3. To enliven
the drumming experience, kids will even have the chance to march behind the drummers and
imagine themselves to be a part of the VivoCity Drummer Boys! From technical military drum
lines to catchy African ethnic beats, VivoCity Drummer Boys is set to pulsate its way through
VivoCity, entertaining and engaging shoppers in a distinctive shopping experience.
