Charles & Keith – Fashion Double Take with Upcycling

Charles & Keith launches its latest project of upcycling vinyl street banners into specially-designed tote bags. The initial concept redefines the environmental motto of “reduce, reuse and recycle” to reimagine a different use of these banners before they are produced with a view to transforming them into something entirely new and stylish.

In this collaboration, banners were collected after the election by President Tan’s campaign team and every bag individually tagged and packed by UN Women. Part of the sale proceeds will be donated to UN Women.

The Kitchen

The Kitchen is nestled within TANGS home at TANGS VivoCity, Level 2. A perfect stop for weekend cooks, budding chefs and anyone who loves to entertain at home, The Kitchen is designed with a classroom seating for 12, where attendees can expect to learn culinary skills from a stellar line-up of guest chefs and sample their own personal portion of the featured dishes prepared by the chefs.

Launched in October 2009, The Kitchen will have a variety of classes every week at a registration fee of $60 to $80. Interested parties can look out for the latest class schedule on www.tangs.com.sg/thekitchen and register for their preferred class at the Customer Service Counter inside TANGS, Level 1.
