VivoRewards members can now earn Instant Rewards using DBS payment modes when they shop at VivoCity to offset same-day parking charges seamlessly!

Singapore, 18 November 2019 – DBS Bank and VivoCity today announced the official launch of DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme, Asia’s first instant earn-and-redeem rewards programme for shopper-drivers.

This strategic partnership sees the addition of a new “Instant Rewards” feature to VivoCity’s existing VivoRewards loyalty programme. DBS customers who link their VivoRewards account to their DBS PayLah! account can now seamlessly earn reward points (REWARD$) instantly for purchases charged to an eligible DBS/POSB payment mode at over 300 participating stores in VivoCity. REWARD$ earned will then be automatically deducted to offset parking charges when members exit the mall carpark in their registered vehicles.

The partnership is designed to bring greater convenience and instant gratification to VivoRewards members, bypassing the usual “Shop, scan, upload” method of in-app receipt submission and the waiting time for REWARD$ to be processed and credited into their account. Now, by tapping onto DBS’ API and technology platforms, VivoCity can process eligible transaction information in real-time, calculate and award REWARD$ instantly – which increases the programme’s efficiency and accuracy.

How it works
Registration to DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme is a one-time process made available via DBS PayLah! mobile app and the VivoCity SG mobile app, which requires linking of the member’s DBS PayLah! account and VivoRewards account.

Customers who are new to the VivoRewards loyalty programme can sign up via VivoCity SG mobile app or do a one-time registration by logging into their DBS PayLah! account – where upon user consent, the bank will automate the pre-filling of relevant personal details in the sign-up form.

Marking the launch of DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme, DBS and VivoCity are rolling out a two month launch campaign packed with attractive reward incentives, where members can earn up to 5X BONUS REWARD$ when they shop with DBS at VivoCity from 18 November 2019 to 24 January 2020.

  • Receive 5 BONUS REWARD$ for the 1st successful instant rewards transaction.
    * Limited to the first 7,000 members.
  • Earn 2X REWARD$ for subsequent successful instant rewards transactions.
    * Capped at 6 BONUS REWARD$ per member per day, limited to the first 10,000 transactions.
    * Excludes transactions made during VivoCity Late Night Shopping event on 20 & 21 Dec 2019.


  • Earn 5X REWARD$ for all successful instant rewards transactions made on 20 & 21 Dec 2019 from 8pm to 1am.
    * Capped at 24 BONUS REWARD$ per member per day, limited to the first 250 transactions.
