Heightened Alert and Precautionary Measures at VivoCity

Heightened Alert and Precautionary Measures at VivoCity

Following the tightening of measures for the period of Heightened Alert (16 May – 13 June 2021) as announced by the Multi-Ministry Task Force, VivoCity has aligned our precautionary measures implemented in the mall to keep you safe so you can shop with peace of mind.

SAFEENTRY CONTACT TRACING
All visitors to the mall are required to undergo mandatory temperature screening and perform SafeEntry check-in before entry. Visitors may present the QR code on your TraceTogether Token for scanning or scan the SafeEntry QR code using the TraceTogether App and present the success screen to our staff for entry.

REDUCTION IN OCCUPANCY LIMIT FOR SHOPPING MALLS
As occupancy limits for shopping malls of 10sqm per person of Gross Floor Area (GFA), to 16sqm per person, we expect the need for intermittent closures of our entrances to manage shopper load. Shoppers are advised to visit the mall outside peak hours for a better shopping experience at VivoCity.

REDUCTION IN PERMISSIBLE GROUP SIZE AND CESSATION OF DINE-IN F&B
The permissible group size when meeting with family or friends in a public place will be reduced to up to 2 persons. Dine-in F&B establishments, both indoor and outdoor, will only offer takeaway and delivery options during this period to reduce the risk of community transmission. As individual store operational timings may differ slightly, shoppers are advised to check with the respective stores before heading down to the mall.

REDUCTION IN OPERATIONAL CAPACITY FOR CINEMAS AND PUBLIC LIBRARIES
Cinemas may operate within a capacity limit of up to 100 people with pre-event testing or 50 people without testing. The prevailing group size of 2 persons applies, and food and beverages are not permitted to be sold or consumed in the cinema.

Public libraries will be allowed to operate at a reduced capacity of 25%.

RESTRICTIONS ON PERSONALISED & BEAUTY SERVICES
Personal and beauty services that require masks to be removed (e.g. facial, sauna, facial grooming) will need to cease during this period, even if it is performed in a private room. For stores that offer multiple services, those that can be performed with masks-on can be allowed to continue.

COMPULSORY MASK-WEARING
Please be advised that it is mandatory to wear a mask before you enter and at all times when you are in the mall.
