Step 4: Check transaction status

Using REWARD$

Park for FREE with your REWARD$

Simply exit the carpark and the REWARD$ you have earned will automatically offset your parking charges. It’s that easy and hassle-free! REWARD$ issued are valid for 3 months from the month of issuance, rounded to the last day of the 3rd month.

Redemption of REWARD$

REWARD$ are automatically converted to parking credits. REWARD$ accumulated in your account will automatically be deducted when you exit the carpark. If the REWARD$ earned are insufficient to cover your parking charges, the balance will be deducted from your Cashcard.

Members are only allowed to utilize a maximum of 3 REWARD$ when they exit VivoCity’s carpark on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Any parking in excess of $3 will be deducted from your Cashcard. This limit is not applicable for members using REWARD$ to offset their parking charges on weekdays (Mondays – Fridays).

About the VivoCity SG App

1. What is the VivoCity SG App about?

The VivoCity SG App, available on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store, is a one-stop platform for shoppers to enjoy a seamless shopping experience at VivoCity. Find out about our latest happenings and events in the mall, easily browse through our store directory to locate your favorite retailers and check out their latest promotions and events. Manage your membership status and earn rewards all at once with the VivoCity SG App.

2. What features can I find in the VivoCity SG App?

Easily locate your favorite stores with our store directory, find out about promotions and happenings, dining choices and fun for kids at VivoCity. The App is also an all-in-one platform where you can manage your membership status for the VivoRewards Loyalty Programme and VivoCity Kids Club. Check the availability of carpark lots in advance and even tailor your interests for us to get to know you better!

3. What is the difference between the VivoCity SG App and VivoRewards Loyalty Programme?

The VivoCity SG App is VivoCity’s official mall App. VivoRewards is an app-based loyalty programme accessible within the App that allows you to submit receipts on the go to earn REWARD$ to offset parking charges.

4. Is the VivoCity SG App a rewards app?

No, the VivoCity SG App is VivoCity’s official mall App.

5. I would like to access some of the features in the VivoCity SG App (e.g. locate stores, check availability of carpark lots, view promotions etc.) but I do not have an account, can I do so?

Register for a VivoCity SG account to access available features in the App. If you do not wish to create an account, you may also select ‘Continue as Guest’ to proceed.

6. I have downloaded the VivoCity SG App and would like to create a VivoCity SG Account. What should I do?

Launch the VivoCity SG App and tap on ‘New to the App? Sign up here’. Enter your email address to begin setting up an account. After entering your particulars, you will need to verify and activate your account through email to start using the App.

7. Is the VivoCity SG App available in all countries?

The VivoCity SG App is available globally on Apple App Store & Google Play Store.

8. How do I download the VivoCity SG App on my phone?

Simply search for ‘VivoCity SG’ in your Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the VivoCity SG App.

9. Do I have to purchase the VivoCity SG App?

No, the VivoCity SG App is free for all to download.

10. Can I launch the VivoCity SG App on my phone?

The VivoCity SG App is supported on the following platforms:

  • iPhone with iOS 10 or later
  • Android device with Android 5 or later

11. How often do I need to update the VivoCity SG App?

App updates will be available on the Apple App Store / Google Play Store when there are new features to share. Updates will also be available when there are quick fixes for bugs.

12. I need help in downloading the VivoCity SG App, who can I contact?

You may visit www.vivocity.com.sg/vivorewards for information on how to download the VivoCity SG App or write in to support@vivocity.com.sg. Alternatively, you may visit our Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1 for assistance.

Setting up your VivoCity SG Account

1. How can I sign up for a VivoCity SG account on the VivoCity SG App?

Launch the VivoCity SG App, tap on ‘New to the App? Sign up here’. Enter your email address to begin setting up an account. After entering your particulars, you will need to verify and activate your account through email to complete the sign up process.

2. I would like to sign up for a VivoCity SG account but I encountered an error message (‘Duplicate Email’), what should I do?

Your email address is used as a unique identifier for your VivoCity SG account and our system has identified a duplicate record. Please write in to support@vivocity.com.sg or head down to our Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1 for assistance. Alternatively, you may sign up for an account using another email address.

3. I encountered an error message (‘Email Already Registered’) when I tried to sign up, what should I do?

Records show that you may have an existing account with us. Please proceed to ‘Login’ with your email address via the VivoCity SG App to access your account.

4. I encountered an error message (‘Email Not Found’) while trying to login. What should I do?

If your email is not found in our records, it could be possible that you did not verify and activate your account through email. Kindly check your inbox and spam folders for the email or proceed to register for an account again.

5. I have a VivoCity SG account, but I am unable to view both my VivoRewards and VivoCity Kids Club membership details. What should I do?

It could be possible that you have signed up for both programmes using different email addresses. Please head down to our Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1 for assistance in linking up your accounts.

6. I have forgotten my password. How can I reset it?

To reset your password, please follow the steps below:

  • Launch the VivoCity SG App and tap on ‘Forget Password’
  • Enter your email address
  • A password reset email will be sent to you
  • Follow the instructions in email to create a new password

7. How do I activate/deactivate the Touch ID function on the VivoCity SG App?

Simply access your phone settings to activate or deactivate Touch ID. You may also activate your Touch ID in-app under ‘More’> ‘Settings’> ‘Touch ID’.

8. How can I update my personal particulars in my VivoCity SG account?

Launch the VivoCity SG App, go to ‘More’ > ‘Profile’ > ‘Edit Profile’ to update your personal particulars.

9. I would like to update my email address used for my VivoCity SG account. What should I do?

Your email address is used as a unique identifier for your VivoCity SG account. Please write in to support@vivocity.com.sg or approach the Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1 for assistance.

About the VivoRewards Loyalty Programme

1. What is VivoRewards Loyalty Programme?

VivoRewards is an app-based loyalty programme for shoppers to easily turn spending into rewards. Simply download the VivoCity SG App on your mobile device and sign up for a VivoRewards Membership account to start submitting receipts on the go. REWARD$ accumulated can be used to offset parking charges.

2. Am I eligible to be a VivoRewards member?

The Programme is open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only. Only private cars are eligible for registration in the Programme. Motorcycles and commercial vehicles like vans and lorries are excluded from the Programme.

3. How can I sign up for VivoRewards?

Sign up as a VivoRewards member with the following steps:

4. How long is my membership valid for?

Membership is valid for a lifetime. However, membership is still subject to termination or suspension should there be any suspicious or fraudulent activities found in account.

5. What is the difference between VivoRewards and the previous Carpark Redemption Scheme (CRS)?

VivoRewards has replaced VivoCity Carpark Redemption Scheme since July 2018. VivoRewards is an app-based loyalty programme that allows shoppers to earn REWARD$ to offset parking charges via the VivoCity SG App.

6. What is the difference between REWARD$ and CRS Points?

REWARD$ has replaced CRS Points since July 2018. Similar to CRS Points, REWARD$ earned can be used to offset parking charges.

7. I am a member of the Carpark Redemption Scheme (CRS) programme, how do I sign up for VivoRewards?

Launch the VivoCity SG App and sign up for a VivoCity SG account with the same email address used for your CRS account. Upon sign up, your member particulars and past transactions will sync up automatically.

8. I do not have a mobile device. Can I still register as a VivoRewards Member?

You may complete a membership registration form at our Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1.

However, please note that membership activation over the counter will be processed within 3 working days.

9. I would like to sign up as a VivoRewards member. What information do I need to provide?

Upon sign up, you will need to provide the following particulars:

  • Email
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Mobile Number
  • Postal Code
  • Vehicle Number
  • Vehicle In-Vehicle unit Number

10. How many vehicles can I register under my VivoRewards Membership account?

You may register a maximum of 2 private cars per Membership account. Please note that motorcycles and commercial vehicles like vans and lorries are excluded from the Programme.

For membership applications via DBS PayLah!, you are only able to register 1 car. Should you wish to register for a second car, you may do so via the VivoCity SG App.

11. I have 2 cars registered under my VivoRewards Membership account. I have sold one of them and purchased a new car. How can I update my vehicle records in my VivoRewards Membership account?

Please head down to our Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1 to update your vehicle records. Kindly bring along your vehicle log card for verification.

12. How long does it take to activate my VivoRewards Membership account?

Your membership is instantly activated upon registering for a VivoRewards Membership account. Newly activated members can immediately upload their receipts to earn REWARD$.

13. Is there a membership fee?

No, membership is free.

14. I was a member of the Carpark Redemption Scheme (CRS) but I was unable to auto sync my details for VivoRewards via the VivoCity SG App. What should I do?

  • Launch the VivoCity SG App
  • Access ‘Rewards’ > ‘I am an existing Member’
  • Enter your particulars to auto sync your details

Please write in to vivorewards@vivocity.com.sg should you encounter any issues.

15. I would like to update my Vehicle Registration Number and In-Vehicle Unit Number (IU). What should I do?

To update your Vehicle Registration Number and/or IU Number, please write in to vivorewards@vivocity.com.sg or approach the Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1 for assistance.

If you have an existing vehicle registered and would like to add an additional vehicle, simply launch the VivoCity SG App, access ‘More Content’ > ‘Profile’ > ‘Edit VivoRewards account details’ to add details of the additional vehicle.

16. I would like to update my email address for my VivoRewards Membership account. What should I do?

Your email address is used as a unique identifier for both your VivoCity SG account and VivoRewards Membership account. Please write in to vivorewards@vivocity.com.sg or approach the Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1 for assistance.

Earning of REWARD$

1. How to earn REWARD$ via the VivoCity SG App?

Step 1

Snap an image of your receipt

  • Ensure that your receipt has a minimum purchase amount of $20, and is submitted within 24 hours of purchase

Check your transaction status

  • Your receipt will be processed within 5 days. You may check the status of your submission in the ‘Rewards’ tab. Please keep your receipt until your REWARD$ has been successfully credited.

2. Is there a minimum spend per receipt for submission?

Yes, each receipt must have a minimum purchase amount of $20.

3. What details should I be capturing in my receipt?

Please ensure that these details are clearly visible in your receipt image:

  • Mall Name
  • Store Name
  • Unit Number
  • Purchase amount
  • Receipt number
  • Receipt date & time
  • Payment mode

 

4. If my receipt is too long and cannot be fully captured. What should I do?

To shorten the receipt, please fold the receipt from the middle. Please ensure that the following details are clearly visible:

  • Mall Name
  • Store Name
  • Unit Number
  • Purchase amount
  • Receipt number
  • Receipt date & time
  • Payment mode

5. Must I submit my receipt on the same day of purchase?

All receipts must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase through the VivoCity SG App / Self-Help Kiosk.

6. Are purchases made before I join the VivoRewards Loyalty Programme valid for REWARD$?

You may only start accumulating REWARD$ for receipts after you have joined the VivoRewards Loyalty Programme.

7. Are there other ways to submit my receipts to earn REWARD$ apart from using the VivoCity SG App?

Yes, you may use our self-help kiosks to earn REWARD$ and check your balance at these locations:

  • B2 Lobby J
  • B1 Lobby L
  • L2 Lobby N

Alternatively, you may visit our Customer Service Counters on Basement 2 / Level 1 to complete a VivoRewards receipt submission form. Attach your original receipts along with the form and submit it via the Drop-in Box.

8. Am I able to keep track of my receipt transaction status if I have submitted them through the Self-help kiosks or Drop-in box?

If you have deposited receipts through the above methods, you will receive a Receipt History transaction statement on the 7th of each month. To check your transactions on the go, please download the VivoCity SG App.

9. What type of receipts are not accepted for REWARD$ accumulation?

  • Handwritten receipts
  • Credit/debit card receipts
  • NETS receipts
  • AXS / SAM machines
  • Banks and ATMs
  • Money changers
  • Purchase of vouchers/gift cards and top up of stored-value cards
  • Pushcarts
  • Temporary vendors at promotional/atrium spaces
  • Movie Ticket Stubs
  • Package utilization receipts

10. Why are my receipts declined?

Receipts that contain incomplete or unclear information will be declined. Do ensure that the receipt image submitted is clear and reflects the following information:

  • Mall Name
  • Store Name
  • Unit Number
  • Purchase amount
  • Receipt number
  • Receipt date & time
  • Payment mode

11. My receipt was declined with the message ‘Receipt contains missing information’. I am told to resubmit my original receipt through the VivoCity SG App. What should I do?

You will be given an option to resubmit your receipt via the VivoCity SG App within 5 days upon receiving the first decline notification. Kindly ensure that you resubmit the original receipt for review.

12. Can I accumulate REWARD$ for receipts that were given to me?

REWARD$ can only be accumulated for your own purchases. If any shopper is found using receipts other than their own purchases to accumulate REWARD$, VivoRewards reserves the rights to terminate or suspend their membership.

13. I have encountered issues submitting receipts via the VivoCity SG App. What should I do?

Please email us at vivorewards@vivocity.com.sg for assistance.

14. How long does it take for my REWARD$ to be credited?

Upon successful receipt submission, REWARD$ will be credited within 5 calendar days. You may check in-app under ‘Rewards’ for your transaction status.

15. Why are REWARD$ not credited instantly like before?

Time is required for processing of receipts before issuance of REWARD$. If you wish to enjoy instant crediting of REWARD$, please sign up for the DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme.

16. I wish to be notified of my receipt transaction status. What do I do?

Launch the VivoCity SG App and tap onto ‘More Content’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Turn on Push Notifications’ to receive notifications on your receipt transaction status. You may also customize your Push Notifications settings to receive preferred notifications.

17. Will I earn REWARD$ if I spend at other Mapletree malls?

No, the VivoRewards Loyalty Programme is exclusive to VivoCity Singapore. REWARD$ will only be credited for eligible purchases made in VivoCity Singapore.

About DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme (Beta)

1. What is DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme about?

DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme allows you to instantly earn REWARD$ when you charge your purchases to an eligible DBS/POSB payment mode at participating stores in VivoCity. Your REWARD$ earned can be used to offset parking charges at VivoCity!

2. Who is eligible to register for this programme?

You would need to have the following to be eligible to register for this programme:

  1. A VivoRewards Membership account
  2. An active DBS PayLah! Account
  3. DBS PayLah! App installed on your mobile device

3. When and how can I register for this programme?

The beta release of the DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme is available to invited customers only. The programme will be available to all at a later date.

For beta users: Currently, registration for this programme is only available via the DBS PayLah! App. Registration via the VivoCity SG App will be made available soon.

Refer to scenarios below for registration via the DBS PayLah! App:

(i) I am new to the VivoRewards Programme:

  • Login with your PayLah! credentials
  • Select the VivoRewards icon appearing on the PayLah! dashboard
  • Read programme consent and terms and conditions. Provide consent to proceed
  • Tap on ‘New to VivoRewards? Sign up here’
  • Enter your email address to begin setting up an account
  • After keying your particulars, you will need to verify your account details through email
  • Provide your Vehicle Registration Number and IU Number
  • Start Shopping

(ii) I am an existing VivoRewards member:

  • Login with your PayLah! credentials
  • Select the VivoRewards icon appearing on the PayLah! dashboard
  • Read programme consent and terms and conditions. Provide consent to proceed
  • Login to your VivoCity SG account by entering your registered email address and password
  • Start Shopping

(iii) I have an existing VivoCity SG account but I have not signed up for VivoRewards:

  • Login with your PayLah! credentials
  • Select the VivoRewards icon appearing on the PayLah! dashboard
  • Read programme consent and terms and conditions. Provide consent to proceed
  • Login to your VivoCity SG account by entering your registered email address and password
  • Enter your Vehicle Registration Number and IU Number
  • Start Shopping

4. Which DBS/POSB payment modes are eligible for this programme?

Instant earning of REWARD$ is only available if you pay with a DBS/POSB Credit/Debit Card*, NETS via a DBS/POSB ATM Card or NETS QR via DBS PayLah! at participating stores in VivoCity.

*Excludes DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card via Union Pay.

5. Will I still be able to earn REWARD$ if I use other payment modes?

Yes. If the payment mode is via a DBS/POSB payment mode not stated above, or a non-DBS/POSB payment mode or cash, you may submit your receipts via the VivoCity SG App to earn REWARD$. REWARD$ will be credited within 5 calendar days.

6. Which are the participating stores in this programme?

7. I am an existing DBS PayLah! customer, why isn’t the VivoRewards icon appearing in my DBS PayLah! App?

The programme is only available for DBS PayLah! customers who have linked their DBS/POSB current or savings account to their DBS PayLah! wallet. For access to this programme, please link your DBS/POSB bank account to your DBS PayLah! wallet.

8. I am an existing DBS PayLah! customer but I experience a time-out each time I try to register for the programme on the PayLah! App.

If you are using a mobile device of the following brands/models: One +6, Google Pixel or Vivo, you will not be able to register for the programme.

9. Why do I need to provide consent to DBS to participate in this Programme?

DBS will need to share the following details with Mapletree (VivoCity) to enable the instant crediting of REWARD$:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Email address
  • Mobile Number
  • Postal Code

DBS also requires this consent and instruction to send Mapletree (VivoCity) all eligible transaction data on your payments at participating stores in VivoCity using an eligible DBS/POSB payment mode to enable the instant crediting of REWARD$.

You may choose to edit the pre-populated email address on your VivoRewards Membership account registration page, however should you choose to do so, an additional email verification will be required to complete the account setup.

Please note that your Vehicle Registration Number(s) and IU Number(s) will also be shared between Mapletree (VivoCity) and DBS.

10. What transactional data will DBS be sharing with Mapletree (VivoCity)?

Only eligible transactional data (>/=S$20, including cancelled transactions) made via eligible DBS/POSB Credit/Debit Cards, NETS via DBS/POSB ATM Cards or NETS QR via DBS PayLah! at participating stores in VivoCity will be transmitted to Mapletree (VivoCity) for calculation of REWARD$.

11. Will Mapletree (VivoCity) have access to transactional data on all my DBS/POSB Payment Modes?

No. Only eligible transactional data (>/=S$20, including cancelled transactions) made via eligible DBS/POSB Credit/Debit Cards, NETS via DBS/POSB ATM Cards or NETS QR via DBS PayLah! at participating stores in VivoCity will be transmitted to Mapletree (VivoCity) for calculation of REWARD$.

12. How would I know that I have successfully registered for the programme?

Upon successful registration, you will be able to see your REWARD$ balance after tapping on the VivoRewards icon in the DBS PayLah! App.

13. I have forgotten my password, what should I do?

You may retrieve your password by tapping on ‘Forget Password?’ in the VivoCity SG App. You will then be prompted to key in your email address. Next, a Password Reset email will be sent to you. Please follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.

14. I wish to opt out of this programme. How do I withdraw my participation?

The opt-out process is only available through the DBS PayLah! App. You may withdraw your participation by tapping on ‘More’ > ‘Manage Your Lifestyle Logins’ to delink your VivoRewards Membership account (refer to screenshots below).

This will only withdraw your participation from the DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme. Your VivoRewards Membership account will continue to be active and you may continue to submit your receipts via the VivoCity SG App to earn REWARD$.

15. Where can I view my transaction history?

You can only view your REWARD$ balance, nearest expiry date and registered vehicle(s) via the DBS PayLah! App. Should you wish to view your detailed transaction history, you can only do so via the VivoCity SG App, under ‘Rewards’.

16. I wish to be notified of my transaction status. What do I do?

Open up your VivoCity SG App and tap onto ‘More Content’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Turn on Push Notifications’ to receive notifications. You may also customize your Push Notifications settings to receive your preferred notifications.

2. Is there a minimum spend per transaction to earn instant REWARD$?

Yes, each transaction must have a minimum purchase amount of $20 and must be made via eligible DBS/POSB Credit/Debit Cards, NETS via DBS/POSB ATM Cards or NETS QR via DBS PayLah! at participating stores in VivoCity to earn REWARD$.

3. How long does it take for the REWARD$ to be credited?

Upon successful transaction, your REWARD$ will be credited instantly.

4. Do I still need to submit my receipts via the VivoCity SG App if I have registered for the DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards programme?

No, you do not need to submit your receipts via the VivoCity SG App for the same transaction. Such receipts’ submission will be regarded as duplicates and rejected from the system. Any erroneous REWARD$ credited will be reversed.

5. Why are my REWARD$ from my DBS/POSB transactions not reflected in my VivoRewards Membership account?

You will need to register for this programme and give DBS and Mapletree (VivoCity) consent to collect, use and disclose your personal and payment data before transactions are transmitted to Mapletree (VivoCity) for calculation of REWARD$.

If you have registered for the programme, only eligible transactions (>/= S$20) made via an eligible DBS/POSB Credit/Debit Card, NETS via a DBS/POSB ATM Card or NETS QR via DBS PayLah! at participating stores in VivoCity will be transmitted to Mapletree (VivoCity) for calculation of REWARD$.

6. I have registered successfully for the programme but I did not receive my REWARD$ despite making an eligible spend in VivoCity.

Please provide us with the required details (refer to table below) via email to vivorewards@vivocity.com.sg.

In the meantime, you may submit your receipts via the VivoCity SG App to continue to earn REWARD$. Upon successful receipt submission, REWARD$ will be credited within 5 calendar days.

7. How are REWARD$ credited for purchases made via instalment payment plans (IPP)?

REWARD$ are credited based on the full purchase amount.

8. What transactions are excluded from this Programme?

The following transactions are excluded:

  • transactions made at money-changing facilities
  • transactions made at pushcarts
  • transactions made at top-up card machines
  • transactions made using top-up and/or points from credit/debit cards
  • transactions made at atrium fairs
  • purchase of gift vouchers, pre-paid cards and parking coupons
  • all types of bill payments including but not limited to AXS and telecommunications bill payments and
  • any other transactions as determined by Mapletree (VivoCity) from time to time

9. Can I convert my DBS Rewards Points or POSB Daily$ into REWARD$ for redemption?

No, DBS Rewards Points and POSB Daily$ earned on DBS/POSB Credit Cards cannot be converted to REWARD$ and vice-versa.

10. Will I earn REWARD$ instantaneously if I spend at other Mapletree malls?

No, the DBS x VivoRewards Instant Rewards Programme is exclusive to VivoCity Singapore. REWARD$ will only be credited for eligible purchases made in VivoCity Singapore.

About Your REWARD$ & Expiry

1. What is the REWARD$ Exchange?

2. Is there a limit to the REWARD$ that I can accumulate within a day?

Each member can accumulate up to 6 REWARD$ per day.

3. Is there an expiry date for the REWARD$ I have accumulated?

All REWARD$ earned are valid for 3 months from month of issuance, rounded to the last day of the 3rd month. The expiry of REWARD$ is also reflected in the VivoCity SG App upon successful login.

4. Why does my REWARD$ balance differ from what I have seen yesterday?

Access the ‘Rewards’ tab to view your REWARD$ history and transactions.

5. What can I use my REWARD$ for?

REWARD$ are automatically converted to parking credits. REWARD$ accumulated in your account will automatically be deducted when you exit the carpark. If the REWARD$ earned are insufficient to cover your parking charges, the balance will be deducted from your Cashcard.

6. How many REWARD$ can I utilize in a day

Members are only allowed to utilize a maximum of 3 REWARD$ when they exit VivoCity’s carpark on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Any parking in excess of $3 will be deducted from your Cashcard. This limit is not applicable for members using REWARD$ to offset their parking charges on weekdays (Mondays – Fridays).

7. How do I check my REWARD$ balance?

You may check your REWARD$ balance in-app under the ‘Rewards’ tab.
