Revel in festive cheer at the mall’s largest outdoor skating rink!

Singapore, December 2018 – For the first time ever, shoppers will have a chance to enjoy skating under the night sky at VivoCity’s outdoor Plaza when it unveils a spectacular outdoor skating rink measuring 350sqm commencing from 7 – 25 December 2018! In conjunction with the mall’s Christmas celebrations, the 35m by 10m synthetic skating rink will be one of Singapore’s largest and will also feature a self-serve online ticketing system where participants can pre-book their skate sessions early to avoid disappointment!

“We’re really excited to bring this outdoor skating experience to our shoppers this Christmas at VivoCity! Shoppers can skate around a beautifully decorated 8m Christmas tree with specially curated playlists featuring a different theme every night,” says Gwen Au, Vice-President for Marketing Communications, Mapletree Commercial Property Management. “This skating experience is part of VivoCity’s inaugural year-end iconic event “Viesta!” which we will reprise with a different theme every year. This year, “Viesta! The New York Edition 2018” takes shoppers on a year-end celebration inspired by the Big Apple, reminiscent of the sights and sounds found in Central Park and Rockefeller Center.”

Skating Under The Moonlight

The outdoor skating rink at VivoCity will commence operations from 7 December until 25 December, those who are interested to participate can choose their preferred skating sessions and purchase tickets from vivoskating.peatix.com or through the Peatix app from now till 25 December. Viewing gallery tickets are available for purchase separately for accompanying friends and family who do not wish to skate.

For one night only! Our skating rink will stay open till 1am in conjunction with the Late Night Shopping frenzy going on in the mall. Bring your BFF or significant other for the best shopping deals in town and also enjoy a skate-night out!
